When Stewart relocated, they found an ideal home within one of Raleigh’s most prominent downtown high-rises. Completed in March 2025, this 13,000-square-foot office buildout at 434 Fayetteville Street transforms second-generation space on the 14th floor into a modern, sophisticated workplace that balances collaboration and productivity.
The experience begins at reception, where Stewart’s custom metal logo wall is immediately visible through double glass entry doors. Polished concrete floors and a white open ceiling accented with black light fixtures set the tone for a refined, contemporary environment.
At the center of the plan, a large open break area serves as the social and operational hub of the office. Surrounded by glass-enclosed conference rooms, the space allows natural light to filters into the floorplate while maintaining visual transparency and connection across teams. This central gathering zone anchors circulation and reinforces collaboration without compromising adjacent focused work areas. Carefully curated materials, fixtures, and furnishings create a cohesive design language, highlighted by a custom branding backsplash tile in the break area that reinforces the firm’s identity.
Designing for a firm rooted in innovation allowed for a bolder yet disciplined approach. Contemporary material pairings and a dynamic color palette give the workplace a fresh, energetic character—one that reflects Stewart ‘s innovative culture and leaves clients confident in the team’s expertise and capabilities.
