Education:

  • B.S., Appalachian State University – Major in Interior Design

A recent interior design graduate from ASU, Catherine joined iS design in February of 2023. Catherine assists in most phases of the design process, including: field verification, schematic design and space planning, design development, construction documentation, finish and fixture selection, as well as 3D modeling and rendering.

Catherine’s many strengths include her bubbly personality, immense love for finishes, and her eagerness to explore each new challenge as an opportunity to learn.

Fun Fact:

Big Disney fan!! I have been to Walt Disney World over 25 times and I am an annual passholder.

Favorite Things:

  • Major dog lover - I have 3 dogs, all mutts that I share with my partner.
  • I have worked at a Forbes 5-star hotel in the 5-star restaurant (only 5-star restaurant in NC) before joining the iS design team and has a passion for fine dining
  • I love all music but EDM and Indie Pop-Rock is my favorite. Tame Impala and Flume are my two favorite artists, but I also dearly love Harry Styles (Saw him on my 25th Birthday at Madison Square!!)
  • I am sort of a caffeine addict...I religiously drink Red Bull and coffee, and always have to start my day with one of the two
  • I have a dream to open my own speakeasy bar one day in a big city that I have designed and planned myself from furniture to drinks served. I would love to combine my passion for design & food!
